Get Garbadon Major fresh out of the oven!

Battle alongside Jazz as she tracks a fugitive while scrambling to avoid getting entangled in her crime-lord mother’s web. Read Garbadon Major, book 3 in the Jazz Healy, Reunion series, now!

That’s the log-line thingy I’m using on Twitter to promote the new book. It’s a work-in-progress of course, as always. But anyway, what are you waiting for? Hurry up and get Garbadon Major while it’s still super-fresh and crispy.

Where, you ask? Well, here’s a link to its Amazon page, and here’s a universal link to a whole lot of bookstores. And if you want to buy the whole series with one tiny click, get on over to the series page on Amazon. Finally, if you want a paperback copy, I’ve got you covered there, too.

As a reminder, the final book in the Reunion series will drop at the beginning of November.

What else is going on in the writing world of S.C. Mae?

I’m chugging away at the first draft of Spider’s Hub, introducing Lincoln Reilly sometime PI/definite ex-spy, who finds himself unwillingly involved in galactic-level intrigue while searching for a missing heiress on space-station Spider’s Hub. It’s getting there, though it’s going to be longer than I thought and I’m not writing it as fast as I’d like. But still, we’re about 58K in, which is much better than a slap in the face with a wet fish (though honestly, pretty much everything is; I really don’t know how that’s a saying).

I’ve also decided to get back to writing short stories. I’m aiming for one a month at this stage. Not in place of my novel writing/editing but as a supplement. My novel process is pretty structured, based around an outline, whereas my short stories are more felt out as I go. And lately my brain’s been nudging me, whispering, ‘Let me roam free, just a little bit.’ Short stories are a perfect way to do that. I’ll definitely be posting some of them over on my Buy Me A Coffee (I might even try to sell some to short fiction zines here and there, too 😮).

Anyhoo, that’s where I’m at right now.

Go on, go get Garbadon Major. You know you want to…😁

Until next time!
